Acetyl-l-carnitine (ALC) is a modified form of carnitine that is claimed by some researchers to exert superior effects compared to regular carnitine.

Dosage:
  • 1,500 - 2,500 mg per day in healthy elderly people.
  • 2,500 - 3,000 mg per day in elderly people with cognitive impairment.
